Mr. Born, a partner in the firm, is a trial lawyer, mediator, arbitrator and medical review panel chairman. He also practices in the areas of insurance defense, representing both companies and their insureds, local government and business. He was admitted to the State Bar in California in 1981, to the Indiana Bar in 1987, and the United States Supreme Court in 1998. He is past President of the Evansville Bar Association and a member of the Indiana Bar Association having recently served on its Professional Committee. He has been named by Indiana Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top attorneys in Indiana for 2007, 2008 and 2009. He earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University in 1980 and is licensed to practice law in Indiana and California. In his spare time, he umpires college and high school baseball. He is also Scoutmaster of one of Evansville’s largest Boy Scout Troops.
